| The Inimitable Derek 32 Bar reel for 3 couples R Goldring 1 - 8 1st and 2nd ladies turn 1¼ times with left hand while 1st and 2nd men turn 1¼ times with right hands, to finish in a line across the dance with the 1st couple back to back; All set and ladies turn ¾ right hands while men turn ¾ left hands. 2nd couple finish facing out. 9 – 16 Reels of 3 on the side, 1st and 2nd ladies (and 1st and 3rd men) pass right shoulders to begin. On bars 13-14 1st woman crosses down to 3rd place on the men’s side while 1st man crosses to the top on the women’s side; Bars 15 – 16 1st lady turn 3rd man, right hand also 1st man and 2nd lady). Finish in a line of 4 between 2nd Corners. 17- 24 17-24 Balance in line with 2nd corners, 1st couple turn left hands to balance in line with 1st corners, then 1st couple turn left hand to finish in the centre woman facing up, man facing down. 25 – 32 Right hands across on the side, 1st lady with 2nd and 3rd ladies and 1st man with 2nd and 3rd men. 1st lady dances up and casts off to 2nd place while 1st man dances down and casts up to 2nd place. |
